My Future My Career Kids Program
The My Future My Career Kids Entrepreneurship start-up program launched in 2021. To date, 45 kids have been supported with approximately $21,260 in grant funds.
The program supports youth to start their own business or expand their existing venture with the help of a micro grant of up to $500 to assist with start-up costs to launch or grow their business.
- Open to Northumberland County residents, ages 8 to 14.
- To support a new start-up business, or grow their existing business.
- Applicant must not have received grant funds from BECN in the last two years.
Please note this is a competitive process due to the availability of funds, and not all applicants will receive a micro grant.
Build your entpreneurial skills with support from BECN
This application is for children who are keen on entrepreneurship. The micro grant will help support costs such as marketing, supplies, and equipment.
The first step in your entrepreneurial journey
This program is a great opportunity for children to begin the entrepreneurship journey and potentially prepare for the next available youth program, Summer Company. Fostering the entrepreneurial spirit the program will help provide the confidence for kids to start or continue their own business venture.
